Research Study : Performance Assessment of Indian Women Entrepreneurs
ICECD carries out studies and researches at national and international levels to understand the development work for promoting women entrepreneurship in India and in other countries.
The sole objective of research at ICECD is to evaluate performance and assess the development impact and draw lessons for the future. Most of the researches are accomplished by using participatory methods. We act as a link between academic research work done and users at different levels to channelize utility among them.

1. Credit Flow and it's Utilization by Rural Women in Micro Enterprises (English) Priced Publication
This research study reflects the continuing concern of the policy makers and financial institutions for micro-enterprise creation and credit needs of rural women entrepreneurs, thus aiming to alleviate poverty in rural areas.
Policy makers, practitioners, banks and micro- credit institutions supporting women entrepreneurs will find this study very useful by understanding and promoting efficient and effective credit flow to women.
2. Performance Assessment of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (English) Priced Publication
The study analyzed behavioral, managerial and entrepreneurial performance of India women in enterprise. It offsets the common belief that women are involved only in part time/traditional/small business and establishes the emergence of a new class of women entrepreneurs in non-traditional industries. The study can be of immense use to create new faith and confidence not only amongst a large section of budding entrepreneurs but to give boost to support and funding agencies too, for leading large number of women towards economic empowerment through enterprise creation.
3. Assessing product opportunities in Zambia for Rural women (English) For Restricted Circulation
The study provides information on technical market opportunities in the form of project profiles. The 200 viable opportunities identified for women using local resources and skills would be useful for potential women entrepreneurs, government and non-government organizations promoting women entrepreneurs in developing countries.

A systematic study to identify prospective entrepreneur's capability building needs for developing entrepreneurial potential through Women Entrepreneurship Development modules. 5. Study on private sector development: A Gender Perspective in India. (1997) (English) For Restricted Circulation
A study to understand gender perspective in the two states of Gujarat and Maharashtra. It provides insight into the prevailing economic environment, institutional efforts and women entrepreneur's profile and performance. The study suggests key areas for policy reformulation and recommends priority action for fostering women entrepreneurship. The study is recommended especially for policymakers.
