In last two decades, ICECD has reached out to more than 10,000 deprived tribal and rural population and has led them to viable and sustainable micro enterprises with appropriate linkages to market, credit and technology under its poverty alleviation initiative. These interventions have resulted in better health, education and self-reliance for them.
Women feel that they get better respect in the family now. Decision-making has become consolidated and they have a clear vision, with better social awareness.
