  • Stree Shakti Puraskar” in the name of Devi Ahyilya Bai Holkar, instituted by the Government of India for the valuable services to the cause of Women and Girls. The award has been presented by Hon’ble President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil on 8th March 2010 at VigyanBhavan, New Delhi.

Achievements

  • Over 1,00,000 enterprises have been directly created in India.
  • Over 2,00,000 MSMEs created through trainers and facilitators in India and in Asia-Pacific, African and Caribbean countries who have further trained thousands of entrepreneurs at global level.
  • 82% of the entrepreneurs developed by ICECD have been able to set up, expand and grow their businesses.
  • ICECD’s development interventions have not only upgraded general living standard of people but have also positively impacted the much needed social upliftment through mediations in the fields of health, education, human rights, gender advocacy and water & sanitation.
  • Employment creation approx. 1.5 million.
  • Lent micro credit upto INR  3.5 crores for the non-bankable youth  (men/women/rural/tribal/slum areas) for them to be able to start their own micro businesses.
